Project 346 is proud to announce exclusive distribution in the USA through Voltage Cycles.

Based in Amsterdam Netherlands, Project 346 gained worldwide recognition for it’s original stretch cruiser design back in 2004 when designer and engineer, Bas Pruissher won the FBI COTY with his entry called “Da Sled”.

“After winning the COTY 2004 (cruiser of the year) election in Amsterdam with my own build bicycle there was demand from the market for that bike. After 1 year of refining the “basman” went into production. The bike is now selling world wide… We are constantly thinking of new accessories to make it even more exciting.” said Bas Pruissher of Project 346.

The Project 346 production model ”Basman” was introduced in 2005 and is currently sold through The Chopperdome / Fickser Import-Export in Europe. Over the past few years the unique styling of the Basman cruiser frame design has become a platform for many custom bike builders around the world. Project 346 has also introduced a wide variety of innovative parts and accessories for the custom cruiser bike builder. Some notable parts include, the “346 Extra Wide Fork” & Hub”, that accepts rims up to 4 inches wide, and the exclusive extra wide “346 Balloon Tire.”

Voltage Cycles uses the Basman Sport frame as the foundation in their custom builds. “We are excited about offering the entire Project 346 lineup in the USA… for many custom builders and shops, the cost to ship direct from Amsterdam is way too expensive. That is about to change!” said Marty Schlesinger of Voltage Cycles.

The entire lineup of Project 346 complete cruisers, frames, parts and accessories will be available in the USA in February 2012 exclusively through Voltage Cycles.
